• Identification of an issue: pertinent information about your chosen subject (e.g., if doing a population group of victims, their particular needs and challenges) that also outlines any relevant controversies/debates/critiques about this particular group of victims or kind of victimization;
• Analytical engagement: apply a specific theoretical perspective and/or concept(s) to a specific form of victimization – this perspective/tool should make sense with the policy you present and should be applied as much as possible throughout the paper;
• Available supports and systems (context): existing responses (CJS, government, or other) to this group or experience in Canada, and the shortcomings or oversights of those responses;
• Solution: propose an improvement or overhaul to a practical response (e.g., policy, program, pre- or post-victimization), or invent a new response that will serve the needs or gap(s) you have identified. Can use any course readings from September all the away up until December 8th.
