Two Different Disabilities
Create a resource collection that includes information about two different disabilities that infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-aged children might have. For each disability, include:
- a description that includes the characteristics of that disability and its potential impact on development. Write at least two paragraphs for each one, in your own words—not copied verbatim, but do cite resources to support your summary. Include a reference list at the end of each description, listing, in APA format, those sources you cited in the description.
- an annotated bibliography (with citations in APA format) of other resources related to the disability, and include:
- at least two websites
- at least two articles from within the last 10 years
Each resource listed must include a brief description of the information it can provide about the disability.
And at least two community resources: agencies or programs that provide services for children with this disability and/or their families. Provide the following information:
- Name of agency/program;
- Contact information (address, phone number, email address) and Contact person, if there is one;
- The ages of the children served;
- The nature of the services provided;
- The cost, if any, for those services.
